finally told my supervisor i wanted to leave next week. they were rather shocked/surprised cause they assumed i wanted to stay till July after i said i wanted to extent! Zz. NO way man!
got a call from NTU, they said i am shortlisted for interview for Nanyang Scholarship! Haha think im one of their last choices cause most ppl already gone for the interview/ received the scholarship already. ( eg. wong zhixin! congrats k!) think its because some ppl reject the scholarship ( like wzx) that's why i have a chance. hahah know this is gonna be my last chance le so i better not screw it up again like my previous dunno how many interviews. shall start chionging newspapers and current affairss!!
went to UNO coffee shop for lunch today with darylg. , weiling, thong ler and yong tai instead of Dover market. shared a plate of fried rice and fish with weiling. took bus there and cabbed back. hahaha all for the western food! oh my we are such pigs!

hmm. anw today is monday and im suffering from monday blues! ohh noo! made 2 mistakes today cos i felt stoney and blur.
1. gave customer wrong info. told them deadline for application was 31st jan when it was today. the irritating part was the customer came back and i was bombarded with qns and requests from so many other customers tt before i could approach the customer to tell her the actual date, she disappeared again! Zzz.
2.gave my phone no. to a random person! oh my! i was too used to granting all requests from customers tt when this guy asked for my no. ( so tt he can contact me if got any qns) i stupidly gave it to him! ahh im so blur! should have given him the ite no.! ahh. hopefully he doesnt call and bombard me with more qns when his application doesnt get accepted! boohoo!
hahaa. wat a day! jae intake period is such a hectic period!

my makeup was courtesy of euniceleck. hair done by justin hair studio. somehow i feel that eunice would do a better job with my hair! =X she was really nice did lotsa research just to ensure my makeup turned up right.
was a really hectic day. was rushing about in heels and this led to blisters on my feet. :((
cabbed down with kityeng to Shangri-La. we felt weird at first and kept hiding about for no particular reason. found classmates in the end. took pictures! everyone looked great!! guess i wasnt too underdressed cos some ppl said that my dress was nice ^^
CAM DIED after i took only about 20 pics. Ky's cam died soon after too and both of us ended up using our noob handphones to take pics. ahh..quality was quite bad. what a spoiler!
nonetheless we had fun! food was ok ... not really very tasty hahaa but didnt really care cos most of the time was spent taking photos!

im finally back blogging! yay! A levels has finally ended and ive been enjoying my everyday to the fullest! dont really have much time to take a breather and my desk is still as messy as ever! my mum's gonna kill me for tt real soon! heh! but too bad tomorrow ill be having class chalet so i get to escape...heeee.
okayy i know tt i have not been blogging for AGES and you guys must be sick for reading the thank you list for my birthday over and over again! LOL! im sooo sorry! TA-DA im BACK! =D
hmm. okay im going to blog about my sis's birthday which was on Oct10th. yes i know this is very outdated but i reallly want to blog about the buffet dinner which we had at Swissotel...
this is the place we went to..
i got really excited after entering the restaurant because unlike sakae buffet, sakura buffet and any other buffets ive been to, the spread looks delicious and there was a rather wide variety of food!
oysters were really fresh!

i saw choc fondue, sharks fin soup ( authentic ones with fins inside..damn nice! had 2 bowls!), wide array for desserts, peking duck, salad, chicken, crayfish, durian thingy ( rich and super yummy! but filling..), oysters, mussels and many many more...WHAHA. the sumptuous spread is bound to send any food lover jumping for joy! xD ( ME!!)
okayy so i grabbed my plate and ate and ate and ate.

went to eunice's house for a sleepover!! =D if im not wrong it is the first time i am having a sleepover at my friend's house. hahah..met candice and eunice at vivo and went to look around and shop for awhile. went to forever21, topshop, blahblahblahh..
great to see them all once again! havent met eunice since march i thk and candice since a really long time! hahaha. they were all dressed nicely and i looked the noobiest amongst them! gonna brush up on my dressing up skills!
anw..im more interested in the eating part as compared to the shopping part ( this explains why im getting FATTER! :(( ) so i shall blog about tt! went to spizza! a yummy pizza place!!
they were offering lunch set so 3 of us decided to share two sets! comprises of soup/ salad, pizza and coffee/tea. ( $8.80++) soup was abit diluted, salad was quite nice! hahaha..we had seafood and chicken sausage pizza ( a lil' spicy) ..
both rocks but candice and eunice cant take spicy food so they ended up drinking lots of water. lol they became full and i ended up eating the most slices of pizza! piggish me! but it is really delicious..how can one resist it....
after buying some bread from breadtalk we headed to her house which was at punggol!
quite a long train ride still need to take LRT to Oasis! far! ahahha..really secluded but interesting..reminds me of countryside. lol!
her house is really nice too! the first impression i got was that it was like a hotel! nicely decorated too =D

hahaa..we bought a show from demand tv..interesting didnt noe we get choose and buy shows. it was okay la..not bad quite nice i guess. ( haha..doesnt sound convincing i know!) in the meantime eunice helped me and candice do our nails!! haah she is so professional la! do until so nice! haahah her patience is admirable..managed to do both our hands really nicely with nice designs on it. ( thanks a lot!!! )
she helped me with makeup too ( trial for prom) and nearly pulled all my eyelashes away with her eyelash curler..
soon candice had to go and we sent her down.
met eunice's mum for dinner at the only coffee shop in punggol. her mum treated us to seafood and veg and egg ( eunice help me thank your mum!) it was nice!

had bowling at hougang. wanted to meet up with my cousin aftertt cos he wanted to treat me to lunch ( birthday treat) ^^. waited for 30mins for him cos he got lost! hahah. hmm. its great having a car! everywhere becomes really accessible for you! when he finally arrived, i dumped my bowling ball ( stupid ball has been causing blisters on my hand) into the backseat and sat in front. he brought his best friend along too =D he brought us to waruku japanese restaurant at east coast park. the food there is nice! quite ex. though! i had a beef set which he strongly recommended ><>< weichern THANK YOU for the wonderful lunch!

ohh..i am in the bowling team le! yay! haha..coach said tt my bowling improved..=D hee. but the competition venue is at yishun safra..so far away! haha..i take about 1.5hrs just to go home after training..quite Zz!
btw..my bowing competition dates would be on 14may 17 may 22may and 23may. =D

Tuesday, April 03, 2007,3:35 PM6th march-19th march was spent mugging for my stupid blocks. i must say i mugged rather hard. i felt quite confident at first as ive finished mugging most of the subjects before blocks started BUT when i tried revising for the topics the day before each test, i realised tt i have forgotten most of the details! arghh. had to revise everything again and ended up sleeping late everyday..Zz.
what a sad holiday!
However, i did manage to go out with zhixin,zihui, xinyun and aline during the hols! we finally met up! yayy! thanks to the efficient organiser zihui! hahaha. we went to miss clarity cafe to eat. zhixin and i shared a fish cordon bleu. =D quite nice!! softer and the meat is much more tender than the chicken cordon bleu.

after blocks
blocks ended last last friday for me and i had a hell lot of fun after tt!!
right after blocks, yingchern, kityeng, liru and i went to vivo. We ate at Marche. The food there was nice! esp. the CARROT CAKE! i shared one with liru. liru and i also shared some special dish..(ahh..cant rmb the name). Its actually fried shredded potatoes with sour cream. =DD tip: when you go marche, share food..its cheaper and you get to try a wider variety of food!

After tt, we went to watch Mr Bean on Holiday. It is a rather nice and funny show though the front part was quite draggy! hahaa.. but it serves as a great stress reliever! I used to <3 style="font-weight: bold;">

tj was invited to be the audience for some variety show that would be aired on chnnl U 4thApril 8pm. eunice invited me along and so i went as ive never been to a real life studio recording. it was quite an interesting experience. hosting is not as easy as we think. the hosts jeff wang and another guy had to repeat their dance over and over again until the director was satisfied. we were instructed to clap and to cheer at certain intervals. everything was planned and not as impromptu as i thought it would be. saw superstar contestants and also contestants from superhost.

anyway, i didnt have school today! FULL DAY oFf! wahAhhaa. but cant say it was well-spent. haha...somehow i always waste my holidays away.
oh. went to MEDIACORP on sunday with Eunice and her friends and posed as a tjcian. watched a show called music in the air. its a new variety show..will be aired on channel U on April 5th 8pm. Do watch it! you may even spot me! EHEHE.
anyway, i realise creating such a show is not easy! they have to keep saying/singing the same thing over and over again until the director/producer is happy with their work. being an artiste isnt tt easy afterall! jeff wang and kelvin something was hosting the show and there were participants from superhost and superstar at the show as well. angela zhang was the guest of honour. hahahaa. quite an eye opener! they recorded the show in parts and will edit it into a continuous show..

Monday, December 18, 2006,11:25 AMI went to Outward Bound School in India from 4th december to 14th december. Hahah. thinking back it was actually rather fun but while i was there suffering, i couldnt wait to come home! haha. hm. i shall now blog about my escapade before I forget about it!
On 4th dec at around 4pm, i boarded the SIA plane heading towards Delhi. Watched the movie 'Stepped up' on the plane. A rather nice movie, interesting dance moves. The food on the plane was delicious! there was even tiramisu icecream! hee. Ate the meal heartily as i knew that this would be the last good meal i would enjoy for a loong time.

As soon as i touched down from the plane 4++hours later, i noticed the drastic difference between Singapore and India. Just getting through the customs was a problem. We had to queue a super long time to wait for our passports to be cleared. The airport was not as nice as Changi airport. the facilities arent as good.
About an hour(? maybe less) later, we stepped outside the airport. It was super dusty! My vision was blocked by the fog..and i thought only Singapore has haze. Got into a vehicle that was waiting to send us to our first stopover. We would be travelling on two separate days as the journey to reach our beach campsite was 12 hours long. We stopped by the deluxe tents for the night.
We were greeted by very hospitable people whom served us tea aka chai and snacks. We couldnt believe our luck when we were introduced to our deluxe tent. It came with an attached bathroom!! hahahh.

The next day, we continued our long bus ride. haha. the sights we saw were interesting..indian drivers are pro drivers! they swerve left and right everytime and kept honking..what a busy road! haha..oh. behind their vehicles..there is a sign..'PLEASE HORN" Zzz.

toilets we use..inside its just a hole dug. after doing your business, you are supposed to use a pan, scoop some sand and dump it on top of your whatever to cover it and prevent it from becoming stinky.
this is the cliff we jumped off from for the cliff jump. the cliff is about 15metres high. it was quite scary!! esp when you are standing at the edge of the cliff and all you see below is flowing waters. as i stood at the edge of the cliff, i was shivering with both fear and cold. the water was icy cold..abt 9 degrees..wth!!
as i stood there shivering i knew i had to jump as everyone was looking at me expectantly. i looked straight ahead and jumped. i was so scared tt my arms were waving about wildly. i landed in an awkward position and realised tt my butt and arms were stinging with pain. Zz. some ppl felt it was fun and wanted to go a second time! ZZZzZZ!!! hahaha. due to peer pressure, all of us went again. the whole procedure was repeated and my relief was replaced with fear once again..
we also had some rope obstacle courses on the first and second day. the third day was the first day of our trekking expedition. the night before, we had packed our 65litres backpack for the journey. my back was super heavy!! about half my weight! in it was my sleeping bag, tent, food rations, clothes and sleeping mat.
the first day of our trekking expedition involved trekking 18km on sandy/rocky roads with our ultra heavy backpack. as i had been slacking at home for too long, i already wanted to give up after the first 1.4km. the trek was tough!! at first, i kept having negative thoughts in my mind and anticipating our arrival to our new campsite. i ended up feeling more exhausted than ever and even wept. Zz. couldnt believe i actually cried. i thought i was strong! AHhh. =( there was no turning back..no vehicles in sight. i had no choice but to carry on.
anw..after some encouragement from my teammates and the instructor, i started to become more optimistic about the whole trek.
after 7 hours of trekking, we finally reached our new campsite and pitched our tents. glad i survived it!!

the second day of the trek , we had to trek 8km uphill to an altitude of 1600m. it was tougher and more challenging than the first day.
one of the challenging thing we encountered was the COLD. hahaa. so cold. didnt bathe for many days. for my trip i only bathed 2 times. haaha. the water was soo cold tt washing plates and cups can make my hands numb! =((

hehehh. the poor ponies. they were made to carry out gas cylinders used for cooking..and the makeshift kitchen tent..heard tt the load was so heavy tt one of the ponies wept and threw the load off its back! poor poniess! =(((
villagers we met during our trek
the third day, we trekked down 8km and sat a local bus. the local bus was really squeezy but it was an experience! the locals are really friendly ppl! they would return our greetings ..'namastae' which means hello in hindi with a warm smile and namastae. ><
we also had a rafting expedition which lasted for three days. it was my first time rafting and i must say the experience was great! haha..the scenery was breathtaking and water was crystal clear..:))
on the last day of our rafting expedition, we met up with a grade 3++ rapid. our raft was drawn into a hole and then went up a super huge wave. it became vertical and the next thing i knew was tt i was under the raft. quite scary . i drank gulps of the holy water until i couldnt breathe. just as i thought i was going to die, i escaped from beneath the raft. there was a rescue kayak and soon i was back on the raft, dazed but safe and sound. haha. the picture is not the one on the major rapid..juz another small rapid. hee. quite exciting!

we were also given time to reflect on everything during solo night where we were given an empty space to sit and think. i received a letter from my father. i started missing everyone back home and also the comforts of home. i started crying uncontrollably and it was quite bad. hahaa. suddenly i heard some noises and looked up. realised tt one of our instructors mr suri was looking at me! zZZzz. so embarrassing !
we also did CIP in a village school for a few hours. the children were cute and shy. hahaa. =)
TAJ MAHAL!
hahaha. we travelled 6 hours to taj mahal just to spend 1hour there! now i really appreciate spore being a small country!! taj mahal was a symbol of love from the king to his third wife taj mahal. it took 22 years to be built. made of marble and precious stones..all transported by animals..magnificent architecture.
