Saturday, January 28, 2006,6:44 PMNext, there was the CNY celebrations. It was ok. I like the performance put up by the malay cultural society best. It was the most interesting one and I think it woke the whole sch up.
However, i still feel that the CNY atmosphere is not there. I prefer the celebrations we had back in Crescent.
I went back t crescent with zhixin and evon afterthat. However, we were too late and missed the performance.. Heard tt it was rather boring anw..so nvm. Hahah..the performance this yr was organised by kuan lao shi too.
I ate hongkong mee. took a few pics with yippie and went home.
I met callista at habourfront to eat subway at arnd 2.30pm. She brought 3 of her friends along. They were all very nice and friendly ppl. There were gowri, stella and amanda. Gowri is from Acs international while stella and amanda is in CJC now.
Callista and I went to order subway. But i must say we made a fool of ourselves. We didnt noe how to order... jeslin told me tt juz by saying 'cold cut trio' you will get a nice set meal. the term sounded weird but nevertheless, i tried and said cold cut trio to the person. Fortunately, he understood! mUaHHAHA. but then, he said it was out of stock!! we didnt noe what to do cos i only noe one term.
in the end, we ordered what he suggested. the person then asked 6/12 inches of bread. we didnt noe!
in conclusion, we ordered the food but aft much embarrassment.
the channel 8 tv show love conceirge ended today. i must say the show is veryyy nice!! and very swt. i h ope more of such shows will be casted.

i must agree that my class is super enthu..esp my teacher! when missyeo( form teacher) asked who wanted to be the 'CEO' of the class, Darren ling ( sharon ling..is he ur cousin or something?) shot his hands right up. i thk he has been anticipating this moment long ago. -_-
ok..my class has only 6 guys. 3 other girls in my class are from crescent too! they are simin, evon and dawn. Hahha. at least i wont feel left out. =)
anww..i still prefer my OG. its more fun and i can relate to most of my OG members better compared to my classmates.
lifeguard training was tough! and i still thought it would be slacky!!! =\ we had to swim abt 15 laps. and tts juz the beginning./ the stamina training coming up on tues would be much tougher! ahhhhH! im like the slowest swimmer there! =((((

,1:01 PMnot many ppl turned up. Xiaojie, Serene and I were the first to arrive. We had planned to meet earlier then meeting the rest later. Ppl who came...sam, huixian, sarah, julia(ogl), serene, xiaojie, aditya, jeremy and kwang hua. =)
we decided to play pool and watch movie in the end. my pool skills have improved!!! i shot in quite a no. of balls into the hole! wheee! jeremy treated us( me serene xiaojie) to pool. Hahah. thank u!!
we were late for the movie even though we rushed back to cine. we watched the memoirs of geisha. nice show...=) i thk chiyo is so cute!
aft the movie, we disbanded and went home. they didnt wanna go for dinnner. sam and huixian were the first to disappear. hahaa. the rest of us went to take the train home. serene was stuck with kwang hua as he followed her to take the train to clementi. xiaojie,jeremy and i went the opp. direction.
went home with jeremy in the end as we were both heading to habourfront.

the moment i stepped into the canteen, i saw jeslin, mel c., jerilyn and jiaqi~ ! haahaaa..its so nice seeing them agn!! we caught up with or jc life and they commented i looked darker! muaha!
then , i saw sharon ling. she was wearing her rj badge. nice lo. and was eating hor fan. we greeted each other . its so nice seeing each other aft such a long time!! i really miss my friends! =) she started snapping away with her camera.
aft lunch, i went to the basketball court to play basketball. however aft a while, everyone got tired and only jeslin jiaqi sharon and me were left on the basketball court. we played for a while longer b4 eunice and patricia came to join us.
OHh. i thk i lost my ac badge while playing basketballl!!!!! haiii!!
anw...my camera was out of batt even b4 i could take a pic . ARGh.
then i went to the band room. the band was going to perform later. i took an old horn and tried playing. amazingly i could still play!!! aft not practising for more than 6 mths. muahaha! im so happyy! old memories were once agn relived.
then aline came at 4plus. she was elated to see all her friends once agn and even shed tears of joy! awwwww~ haha. however soon she was on her way to find her fave tcher, mrloh.
i hanged arnd a while more and after tt decided to go for dinner with jeslin, mel c and jiaqi. we proceeded to habourfront and ate subway. i realised tt subway is a better choice compared to MAcs! the food is healthier and in a way..cheaper!
we chatted for quite a long time and i learnt many things frm them. they taught me wats a dunk (shoe), poser etc.
i realised tt every sch has a diff culture and ppl change unknowingly during their time in jc. its kinda sad to know tt crescent culture is slowly disappearing frm us.
went to shop for jeslin's jacket. couldnt find a suitable one. went home.

Serene, Xiaojie, Yunni, Jodine, Joanna, Huey hien, Sarah, Sam, Jeremy, Aditya,Catherine, Kwang Hwa, Ho wei, Kah Joon, Deanna,Christine,Calvin ...haha. ( did i still miss out anyone?) and yes..they are all frm my OG =)

oh. and three ppl in my og( DREAMSHIP SURPRISE!) alone shares the same bdae! so cool right? its me, serene and kah joon. our bdaes are on may3rd.
Time flies and its alrdy the second week of a new sch life. We are having introductory lectures this week. Some subjects are quite boring ...however some tchers are funny and interesting.
I think ill be taking this combi. its a very popular combi i thk. HAHA. bio, chem, econs, maths ..yAh. all h2 xcept for econs at h1.
on cca day, i signed up for many ccas. juz to name a few...basketball, choir, chinese orchestra, band, lifeguards, tennis, swimming, guitar...
i decided not to go for choir auditions as we were supposed to sing our sec sch song and the acs sch song. and as u all noe..my singing sux! hahaah. ( i noe eunice will agree with me!)
today, there was swimming meeting. me and shuang ying decided to give it a go and try it out. zhixin went with us. haha. she kept wanting to leave aft tt but it was too late!
nt really alot of ppl join. at the end of the meeting, me and shuang ying wrote our names and signed up for swimming. uhoh..dunnno whether ive made the right choice. but they said tt it does ont mean tt im in even if i write my name down...so i dunno lo.. =

Monday, January 02, 2006,7:55 PMToday we had our RMPS primary school outing at West Coast Park. I can say that it was fab. and was a success! Hahah..i didnt expect so many people to turn up! Apparently, yixin was a much better organiser than me! Next time get her to organise more outings for us...Haha.. apparently, it wasnt easy as she had nightmares of west coast park for 3 consecutive nights! Xin Ku Ni le Yixin!! =)

It was really great meeting up with primary school friends after 4 years! Everyone looked really different! =))
Actually, callista and i were hesitant about going at first as there was school the next day. We checked out the weather and realised tt it would be raining on mon ( the day of our outing) !!! Haha..we cross referred to many sources and all said that there would be thunder storms at 2pm. So we decided...maybe we shouldnt go afterall!

I smsed yixin to tell her that it would be raining and that I would not be going. She became really angry...i felt bad and decided to go..
Calllista decided to come as well after much persuasion. Wanling, Cal and me sat Cal's parents' car to West coast park. We were early!! HAhah..so we decided to go play with the big big pyramid thingy first. The one where we climb up.
All started well until callista didnt dare to proceed any further than half of the whole thing. Me and wanling spent 15 mins trying to persuade her to take the next step! Hahaa..but to no avail =\ In the end...we decided to go down cos we were late for the meeting =)
We met junkai, sebastian and samuel. they were standing there and looking at us.....uhoh. Haha..kinda awkward cos we have not met for a long time. Callista and wanling couldnt recognise junkai and thought he was some extra person tagging along! hahahahaa.
We went to MACs. There were many pple there. Mostly guys. It felt really weird! Cause we had not seen them for a very long time... HAha..we went to sit at one corner and became antisocial. Talking among ourselves only..( the girls) ..the conversation was reallly funny and lame..esp with callista around.
I shall now name the people that came according to my memory!

Yixin had thought of many games which we were going to play. The first one was captain's ball. I asked.."hey..where's the ball?" yixin was like..OH NO! i was like uhoh! she had forgotten to bring a ball -.-!
We( yixin and i) then went in search for a ball. West coast doesnt sell balls and the nearest town area was like so far away..at least 1 km loh!!! We half walked and half ran. After bout 15 mins...civilisation came in sight. whew! We walked around the shops...but no balls in sight. There was one that was 10 bucks but was too ex. So we decided to give it a miss.
Our hearts fell. We thought we would have to go back empty handed. Suddenly, at the corner of our eyes, we spotted rufia strings! wheee! and its only 50 cents. may come in useful. So we decided to treat it as a ball and bought it.

Then we walked and ran back. All i can say was that my stamina was really bad! I was sweating profusely ( abit kua zhang la! but this talk about pri sch brings back old memories of mrs som and her vocab) !
Hahah.. our find was rather pathetic..almost 3km of road and only brought rufia string back...
Games started. First game was captain's ball. it was quite fun! though our team lost! =\ timothy was so tall tt he didnt even need to stand on the bucket to be as tall as yixin! WAH.
the game was not fair lo!! pple frm the other team were all so tall!! ahhh.
our forfeit was rather simple. it was just using our butts to write #1.
HAHA.
next game was dog and bone/cat and fish. Groups were redivided. i was number one and ten. Caught quite a few of the 'bones' ( rufia string roll). Still lost in the end. I was almost always caught by jit hin before i could return safely! :'(
Our group lost. again. This time we had to sing the radin mas sch song. it was just one verse...i sang abit and soon, it was over. MUAHA.
Next game was mafia. the rules were really confusing! but the comments xing wei, kenny, timo and many others made were really funnyy!

Anyway...callista and me didnt understand the game and thought it was quite boring. We decided to play catching instead! fun sport! whee!
A lil girl came and joined us. I was the catcher. Wahh..i really had no stamina. After running for awhile..i realised tt i couldnt run anymore...uhoh!!! anyway..i caught the lil girl!!
But soon, she caught me back. I was like panting away. So tiring! Callista nv got caught! ahh..cant believe she runs faster than me now! i used to run faster than her in pri sch! Ahhh! im getting old. =
They were still playing the mafia game when we got back so we decided to go to macs to buy some drinks =) milo!! yumyum!

when we got back, they were already gone. They had proceeded to another place to play more gameS! jit hin and andrew started playing with a weird thingy. Something like merry go round..dunno how to describe. They stood there and started spinning really fast! oh man..
suddenly, jit hin fell off the thingy! he was injured=\ his leg was bleeding and soon it grew swollen! it was rather disgusting! esp the swell. The swell was like so big!! like blood clot or something. Scaryyy! but he said it was not pain and remained rather calm..wah..so brave! =)
Anyway...we went to climb the pyramid again! this time we reached the top! wow..the scenery was really amazing!!! =)

it was getting late..we decided to start playing the scissors paper stone game =)
hahahaa. i kept losing. our group lost in the end too! but at one pt kenny tricked me into putting scissors!! =
ahhh.
oh well...then there was the forfeit part.. it was 5 plus liao and me and cal. decided to leave. Suddenly, yixin started passing around cups of flour to the winning team. UHOH. i knew at tt pt tt something bad would happen if we do not leave quickly. andrew, armed with the cup, came closer to us.
I kept warning him not to throw when suddenly, i felt my back being 'attacked' with FLOUR! it was kenny..!! erbSs!!! so mean la...i was not even prepared k! he attacked from my back. HOW CAN loH!! i got my whole back white.
even my poor sling bag was not spared =( i was planning to bring it to sch tmr..but now cannot liao..too white.
i wanted revenge. heh hehh heh. yixin brought out a container of flour mixed with water. i grabbed abit and chased kenny. he was too fast for me. when i finally caught up with him, more goo-ey mixture hit me. yuckS loh! i was not strong enough...
in the end, my face, hands, shirt, hair and even bag got dirtied! all thx to kenny chew! ( kenny if u are reading this u are so dead..how could u bully someone weaker than u?)
HAHA. see how dirty he iss!!
in the end i realised tt ive accomplished nth..didnt even throw any goo-ey stuff on anyone =
we decided to go home aft tt though some ppl went for dinner. i went home in a mess. =)
