Made scones with sis and also learnt how to make yam paste from my father.
Scones are nice and simple to make!
Ingredients
300g sifted selfraising flour
40g butter
1 tsp baking powder
250ml milk
1. Mix in chilled butter into flour
2. Add milk
3. It will become a dough like thing
4. Put it in balls on baking tray
5. Mix in jam
5. put in preheated oven ( 220C) and heat for 12-15mins
Done! As easy as A,B, C..hahah i recited the recipe from memory...but still..do try making it!
I realized I have lost touch with many of my friends! oh no tts bad..i have not been keeping up with their lives and meeting up with them..spent most of my time slacking away..feel so guilty. better make more effort before i become friendless! =(

ahh sports camp is already full! cant join anymore. dont know whether to go for Arts camp or Biz camp. ahhh. hahaha.
Okay i shall blog about my last few days..
Weds 28th may
happybirthday shuangying!
went out with shuangying on her birthday to celebrate her birthday! ate at kuishin-bo. in case you guys dont know, its a jap buffet restaurant..about $30/pax incl. GST and service charge for lunch. if you only eat for an hour..it would be $19.90++/pax. there is a wide variety of mouth watering food, desserts and drinks! and once we entered we got so excited that we...started taking pictures! whaha. then we grabbed a plate and started filling our palate with sashimi, sushi, chanwamushi, mussels etc. there was also paper steamboat and teppanyaki..didnt get to try the steamboat cos we were too full. initially we wanted to finish in an hour but when there was only a few minutes left, we still had a plate filled with desserts. in the end we sat for the whole buffet.
ohh during our lunch, we witnessed an incident. a waitress accidentally spilled some soy sauce on a man. ( our next table) it was only a teeny weeny bit and the manager came to apologize etc. they even bought him a new fila shirt! not bad huh..mayb service charge was also exempted. i still remember the other time when my siblings and i were at Kim Gary. The waiter spilled a whole cup of milk tea on us! Ours shoes, clothes etc all got! worse thing was they only said sorry and did nothing. ZZz. didnt even offer to exempt service charge or smth. see what a difference in service!
Friday
Sharonling and Yizhen came over to my house. Initally we wanted to go cycling at ECP but poor weiling was still at camp so we decided to go cycling another day. we baked oreo cheesecake muffins. it was okk..quite nice i guess though i prefer the ones weiling made. forgot to take pictures show you all! hahaa.
then we walked to the tallest overhead bridge in singapore =D
sharonling also brought along her photoalbum and we had a fun time reminising the past. maybe using a film camera is indeed better than digi cam. it carries more sentimental value. all my old photos are gone...wiped out when my com died =,(
had fun that day! cant wait for the next outing! sharonling hurry plan!
Saturday
On saturday i went out with zhixin and zihui. hahaha its an outing organized by me! but i must say it wasnt very successful because i only managed to get two ppl out. lol nevertheless we had fun! it was a shopping trip and i bought lots of things due to GSS! felt really guilty aftertt. bought a pair of heels ( zihui bought one too!) and shorts and 3/4jeans( zihui bought one too!) and outer jacket( zhixin bought one too!) and spag ( zhixin bought one too!) . gave the last two items to my sister cause i felt guilty for buying so many things. haha zhixin is so pro! she got both MOH scholarship and NUS scholarship. wow-ness huh! hahaa.
Sunday
Its the ostro-kityeng outing =DD met up with liru first and we went to chinatown to check out tour packages and prices. went to Good morning Nanyang Cafe for Ciabatta! Love them! Cant get enough of it! hahah. soft fragrant kaya-butter bread..ohhh dont get me started! haha. hm we decided that maybe people's park complex dont have what we want- tour packages to Malaysia, so we decided to make our way to Golden mile. While crossing the overhead bridge, we saw this travel agency which caters trips to malaysia. there were packages for Redang too! lucky us! didnt have to go all the way to Golden mile. then we decided we needed the internet to search for better deals. we turned our head and saw that there was a lan shop near us! it was our lucky day! we felt weird entering the shop as it was the first time we stepped into a lan shop. its filled with guys playing computer games..
aftertt we queued for the yongtaufoo at people's park. its like $3.50 for a bowl of yongtaufoo soup. having eaten it for a few times i still cant figure out what's so great about it. it's nice but i dont think its worth the super long queue and price.
next we took the mrt and wanted to go to habourfront to meet yingchern. on our way there, we realized yc was still having her lunch so we decided to take the mrt back to chinatown where we did more research -.- haha.
met yc and we went central to chill. ate icecream. drank icelemontea. then went home. =D
